Built in French Baroque style, the Chicago Theater was the first lavish movie palace in America, complete with velvet seats, Wurlitzers an orchestra pit and much more! The building is more than half a city block wide and long, and stands more than seven stories tall. The vertical CHICAGO marquee is six stories high and a State Street icon in and of itself.
