The first snow globes, displayed at the 1878 paris universal exposition, contained a miniature man holding an open umbrella. Well, we’ve come a long way from then. Our latest piece harkens back to the first snow globe but presents a modern new take on an old form. Abstracted in black, white, and grey silhouettes, the umbrella men battle silver rain in a scene at home in a surrealist painting, amute in a big city, or a dream.
