Louvre Museum or simply the Louvre-is one of the world’s largest museums, housed in the Louvre Palace originally built as a fortress by Philip II. Our Christmas ornament depicts it as it is today with the I.M. Pei glass pyramid added in 1989 to create a new entrance space to the museum.
