Originally named the Jack Russell Terrier, this energetic little dog’s name was changed to Parson Russell Terrier on April 1, 2003, and is recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC). Renamed in honor of the legendary huntsman (and clergyman), Reverend John Russell, Parson Russell Terriers were used for fox hunting in southern England during the 1800’s. Playful, clever, bold and affectionate, you can see why this breed was chosen to be part of a decade-long television series. “Eddie” was the canine companion to the father on the show Frasier. Our puppy dog ornaments are ideal for dog show awards, pet-sitter thank you gifts, and appreciation gifts to your veterinarian staff.
